Investment Committee 3.3.1. Role The Committee approves or recommends to the Board as follows: i) Considering and if thought fit approve capex proposals exceeding Rs 3 crores each, as may be recommended by the Chairman and Managing Director ii) Considering and if thought fit approve business strategies of the Company as may be proposed by the Chairman and Managing Director iii) Recommending to the Board acquisition and disinvestment proposals iv) Recommending to the Board sale of surplus land and other non-operating assets of the Company for reducing debt, improving working capital position and for strengthening the Balance Sheet v) Selling the investments held in equity shares by the Company 3.3.2.
