The Pharmaceuticals and Intermediates Business has the distinction of being able to perform phosgenation. It is amongst the only 3 companies in India to be producing phosgene. The Business has facilities to manufacture a range of API and API Intermediates. It also has a multi-purpose manufacturing facility, a pilot plant and a kilo laboratory. Research and Development is a focus area for the business. 25,000 sq ft have been dedicated for research in the areas of API and API Intermediates.
