The Company believes that 5S is key to achieve its goal of sustainable development. We had initiated the 5S movement a few years ago and have been implementing the initiative in our manufacturing plants at a base level. It is now important that we move to the next level of 5S implementation. A relaunch of the movement was announced in a kick-off meeting organised on August 28, 2019 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Atul Vidyalaya.
The team pledged to take forward the 5S movement to make it a success. The name and logo of the movement – Swayam, was unveiled. The winners of the coin a name competition and quiz competition were felicitated by our Chairman and Managing Director. Mr Sunil Lalbhai in his address, called upon the team to take ownership and be a part of the change to strengthen our roots by improving the systems.
